CE Course Topic: Insurance and Public Policy Issues Arising From The 911 Terrorist Attack
CE Course Description: Referred to by many as the “best CE class they have ever attended”, this fascinating presentation tells the story of the multi-billion dollar subrogation actions against airlines, aviation security companies, and foreign governments alleged to be responsible for the 9/11 Terrorist Attack. The presentation provides an insider’s look into the events leading up to the attack and the complex first-party property insurance issues that arose after the attack. The presentation is of particular interest to insurance professionals who appreciate the important role played by the insurance industry in history-shaping catastrophic events.
